SPEAKER BOOKING
Nothing is more awesome than "lightbulb moments"; those times teaching at bedside, via Zoom, or in a lecture hall when someone in the audience gets that look on their face that says "I get it now!".
Blessed to have been in public service since 1987 when I started working as an EMT. Growing up in a fire department (like being raised by wolves), I learned about service and dedication at an early age. Board Certified in Emergency Medicine since 2008 at LSU-HSC (Geaux Tigers!), my fellowships have been in prehospital care, resuscitation / critical care, and certifications in maritime medicine and administration. Throughout the decades, I've worked in EMS, fire-rescue, aeromedical care, maritime medicine, research, emergency departments and intensive care units all over the United States, Bermuda and the Caribbean. Growing from a teen volunteer to a Medical Director of prehospital care and hospital departments, my clinical work, live and remote lectures have taken me all over the world, meeting the most amazing people, and nothing gives me greater professional joy than the opportunity to help with educational needs.
In addition to my lecture bank of >80 topics that are constantly updated to meet NREMT, ANA, AANP, AAPA and AMA standards, I can create a custom single or series of lectures to suit any need.
I'm experienced with protocol development, research, quality assurance / initiative programs, and mentorship assistance. Let me know how I can help you, or perhaps send another specialist your way from my experienced network of friends and colleagues in emergency medicine, critical care, public safety, fire service, EMS administration and nursing. Let's make some "lightbulb moments" together; email (prehospitalmd@gmail.com) or text / WhatsApp me at 407-819-8331.

ENVIRONMENTAL EMERGENCIES: HEAT, HEIGHT, & HOLY CRAP
NREMT 1 Hour Category: Medical, Trauma We love our planet, but Mother Earth tries to kill us every day. Spend an hour exploring the pathophysiology and management guidelines for heat related illnesses, high altitude illnesses and lightning strike Injuries.
SEX TOYS BROUGHT ME TO THE ED! NREMT 1 Hour Category: Trauma Ok...it's a bit risque, but at it's heart, it's a (not-so) "standard" genitourinary trauma lecture. Is is graphic? Yes. Is it informative? Yes. Is it fun for all ages...well...If you are old enough to be in EMS, then you are old enough to see what happens when a fun night goes horribly wrong. This lecture addresses both prehospital and hospital management of these often complicated injuries whilst reviewing basic trauma and shock management.
